Cohere: to stick together; be united here; hold fast to one another in this place.
The Co:Here Housing Community is founded on the conviction that people are made for community. We are truly at home when we are able to live together with other people in committed relationships and put down deep roots in a particular neighbourhood or place.
This vision of home has led to plans for the development of 26 self-contained units of affordable community housing for mixed income individuals and families, located at 1st Ave. and Victoria Dr. in East Vancouver.
Our goal is to create an authentic, supportive community for vulnerable people in our neighbourhood based on the principles of Simplicity, Community, Respect, Empowerment and Sustainability.
